About San Fernando Valley Convention
About - Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
About - Our Convention
We are so excited to bring you the 49th Annual San Fernando Valley AA Convention with Al-Anon participation. This is our 50th year of bringing conventions to the San Fernando Valley. Our theme this year is: Sometimes Quickly, Sometimes Slowly. Together with our friends from Al-Anon and Al-ateen, we have planned a Convention filled with fun events, in person fellowship, and recovery. We welcome you to join us for a three-day weekend of Speaker Meetings, Marathon Meetings, and a host of other AA and Al-Anon events. Note that the 2025 Convention is IN PERSON at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills. None of the convention events will be on Zoom this year.
