Al-Anon Chairperson's Message

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 2027 San Fernando Valley AA Convention. Guided by this year’s theme, “Together We Recover,” I am grateful that we have the opportunity to come together for a weekend of fellowship, recovery, service, and shared experience.

It is a true privilege for me to serve as your 2027 Al-Anon Chair. I am deeply thankful for the trust, encouragement, and support of so many people who help bring this convention to life. Al-Anon and Alateen participation is close to my heart because it reminds us that families and friends affected by alcoholism also find strength, understanding, and hope through recovery.

My hope for this weekend is that each person feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged. May we listen with open hearts, share honestly, and leave with renewed faith in the healing power of fellowship and the reminder that we do not recover alone.

Thank you for being part of this special gathering and for the love and service that each of you brings. I look forward to sharing this meaningful weekend with you as we continue to walk the path of recovery together.
